Every single thing others contribute to the class is made up of effort and hard work. Even if you did not appreciate it, you need not ruin it because you did not do it and it is not your hard work anyway. However, had you ever thought about the feelings of the person who had done it?
Maybe you accidentally ruined it without knowing it, if it was only one day, it is fine, but what if it happens everyday and that person have to do it all over again every single day because of your “carelessness”? Why not look around you and take notice of those people’s hard work that they had put in the class instead of just talking. Be it the cleanliness of the class or organizing an outing.
If you see litter, pick it up and walk towards the toilet which was only a few meters away, it’s a simple task yet people can’t do it. Are they blind? Or are they just ignoring it? Or do they “don’t even know” about it? Or are they “rushing for time”? If you had the time to go out with your friends or play computer at home for hours after you “rushed” to that place, why don’t you have the time to pick up litters which will only cost you a minute or two? You can even throw it on the way there.
If you can’t go to a class outing, just kindly tell the people who are organizing it kindly. If you have a suggestion, say it nicely and not argue with them because they do not take your suggestion, your suggestion is only a suggestion. If you wanted to go to that place so much, please, go ahead yourself, you do not need to create troubles for others. It is hard to get everyone organized if you do not know yet. Why not try to organize something next time where everyone disagreed and there were “suggestions” pouring all over you until you drown?
It is a hard and painful feeling they felt while doing these things just for the sake of the whole class, however, they still did it. Why? It is because they love the class and hoped to help the class and satisfy everyone. For the sake of everyone, they are willing to sacrifice their time and effort to clean the class or organize an outing, so why not help them by putting in your effort and making their work easier?
When one stick stands alone, it breaks easily, when one group of sticks stand together, they are hard to break. Try it. And please take these words into considerations and have some what people call, “Basic Manners”.
